Hysteria!
Ireland's Song
Morning Babble
Hysteria! was written in 2023, six hours south of my hometown. The piece follows a welcome back to the setting that earned the speaker a bed in a fascist Maryland institution. Hysteria! can also be found in undergraduate journal, the Oakland Arts Review (Volume 10, Spring 2025 edition). See the full poem below for a cold return to the real world after nearly three months in a locked mansion.
Written in Irish verse, this poem is a short tribute to the speaker's late grandmother. The speaker's grandmother, an Irish firecracker, is survived by her husband who still decorates his Christmas tree exactly how she did. Read more for the full text.
In this experiment with form, the speaker babbles on about what it feels like to be incapable of loving. Read more for a short glimpse.

Ode to Murder, A Sonnet for the Sickly
In this still-life poem, the speaker lets her writing spill out while watching sunflowers mirror themselves atop a shiny table. Read more for the full narrative.
